I admit I did not grow up wanting to become a real estate agent. My first love was being a school teacher. But after 12 mostly wonderful years in a middle school classroom wrangling tweenagers, I earned my real estate license in 2014 and set out on a new adventure. At that time, two important truths became evident: The gifts and talents I used as an educator, such as attention to detail, strong communication skills, organization patterns and problem solving capacity were all beautifully transferable to the service of clients buying and selling real estate. And secondly, my heart’s desire to be in service, or moreover ministry to others, could be fulfilled in this rewarding industry.  I truly am a teacher at heart and have learned that real estate is really about successfully educating Buyers and Sellers about the process, the market and their options and helping a buyer find a new house is like assisting them to find their new mission field- that they might live and love their neighbors. 

In the past 7 years I have done real estate like I do most every other endeavor in my life: at full speed and with great passion. I have closed hundreds of homes and while the high transaction count has developed in me experience, regional knowledge and unparalleled negotiation skills, these 300+ properties represent lives touched, relationships made and dreams fulfilled and that is amazing to me! I started Adorn Realty to continue to cultivate the beauty of all that this industry can be for our clients. ​When we decided to buy a home, Deborah Niehaus was recommended to us by dear friends and our journey began.  Little did we know at that time it was a seller's market, not buyer's.  We found many houses we wanted and made offers but we missed out on each one---except the one at XXXX Way. We made an offer on this home, thought we had it but at the last minute, lost this one.  However, God worked things out.  We looked at several other homes but just like before, they were not for us.  We were at the deadline to be out of our apartment so decided to stay in a hotel for a month to keep looking for our home.  The day before we were to have our furniture moved to storage and move into the hotel, Deborah called us with amazing news.  The house on XXXX Way was now available as the deal fell through at the last minute.  The owner agreed not to put it back on the market if we were still interested.  We agreed to buy it and the owner let us rent it for the next month so we wouldn't have to put our furniture in storage or live in a hotel until the loan was complete.  This was such a blessing to get this home we wanted close to our son and his family.  We serve an awesome God.  Thank you Deborah for helping us in so many ways.  To God be the glory.

Room to Grow

My husband and I used Deborah Niehaus for our recent sale of our townhome with simultaneous purchase of our dream home. At first, we weren’t sure if we were going to take the plunge,  but after speaking with Deborah (and her providing GREAT education and insight) we decided to go for it!

She was beyond helpful!! We honestly couldn’t have done it without her. She helped us with the staging process, gave pointers, educated us the entire way, provided her professionalism and expertise. After talking to a few realtors in the past year, with no success, I reached out to Deborah one weekend in August and she immediately set up a time to meet with me. First Time Homeowner

Buying a home is rarely easy, whether it’s your first home purchase or your fifth.  However, buying your first home comes with the potential for extra confusion and stress as you try to understand the process. I recently worked with Deb Niehaus in purchasing my first home in August and she made the experience so much smoother than I anticipated it would be! Deb gave me wise advice about the offer I made on the house, and was always available during the entire process to answer any questions I had. She also made the extra effort to be present for multiple inspections, not just the home inspection. In addition, Deb immediately responded when there were documents ready for me to sign and coordinated the electronic paperwork efficiently. ​Deborah was fantastic!
I work in the home buying and selling industry. I know a wide variety of agents and I went with the best! Deborah Niehaus. Here's why... My wife loves browsing online looking at homes for sale. We didn't plan on moving for several years and we were expecting our first child Sept 4th so usually I look at it and find something wrong with the house and she keeps scrolling. On August 24th (A Saturday) my wife stumbled upon our dream house... at 8:10pm. I texted Deborah on a SATURDAY at around 8:20pm and said we HAVE to see this house! She texted back a minute later. She dropped her plans and after church, we went to see the home in person. We loved it even more in person so while standing in the kitchen i told her we would do anything it took to get this home. Deborah got all the documents that we needed, and we submitted our offer Sunday afternoon. We found out the following Tuesday that we got the house! Here is the fun part. She put me in contact with Sherry Green who pre approved us on Sunday the 25th WHILE ON VACATION! The sellers wanted to close on September 29th which was an issue because i was using my VA loan. Sherry was very honest and said we had almost no chance to close in time due to the VA which typically takes 40+ days on their end of things. Sherry, being awesome at what she does, called the right people and got the VA paperwork with several days to spare! Deborah also negotiated 5k for the roof and 1.4k for other issues. $6,400 on a 19 year old home selling for 240k! That is unheard of! Both Deborah and Sherry dropped plans to make this home purchase possible for my family and their diligent work not only ensured us closing on time, but an additional 6.4k for repairs. Deborah also helped sell our other home without a hitch and with multiple offers!. We priced high and she got us full asking price in Benson! I would absolutely recommend Deborah Niehaus.
